I am the head guide for Bay Street Outfitters and have been fishing the area for over 25 years. Growing up I first fished, shrimped, and gigged the area with my Grandfather. In more recent years I have focused most of my efforts on sight casting in the waters around Beaufort and Hilton Head, and believe this is one of the best fisheries in the entire nation.

As an Orvis Endorsed Guide I feel a sense of required pride in what I do both taking guiding very seriously as well as enjoying it. I believe fishing for my clients should never be a stressful situation, instead it should be an enjoyable experience they walk away talking about as well as having learned something from. I have been privileged enough to get to fish and spend time with some of the best fisherman and writers in the business and am fortunate to have learned a ton from them. In my seven years of guiding I feel comfortable with the fact that I take extremely good care of my clients and put them in some of the best situations to be able to cast to fish.

While most days we fish from the boat I am certain that not one person in Beaufort County has waded for tailing Redfish as many times as I have in the last two years. Tailing Reds are the ultimate challenge for a saltwater fly caster and have me just as hooked as many of my clients are.

For 2010 I made the decision that I should be fishing a Maverick and have never been happier about a decision I have made in my business. This boat does the job of stalking fish better than any boat I have ever been in.
